Compared to Sea Lion HV, the kayak has a much smaller displacement. It is suitable for people weighing 70-90 kg or trips with smaller baggage. It is intended for kayaking with a skeg (sword), without a rudder. Skeg maintains a straight course, stabilizing the kayak on high waves and during stops.

Sea Lion LV features standard equipment of two big waterproof baggage hatches and a one-day hatch behind the cockpit. Stern baggage hatches are independent (divided by an additional third bulkhead). There is an additional compartment for small things and a profiled place for a compass in the bow.
