SELVA has been active in the automotive sector since 1945, when it manufactured Lambretta Innocenti components at its Sesto San Giovanni plant near Milan. In 1959, the founder Lorenzo Selva Sr. moved the growing production of outboard engines from its original location to the new plant in Tirano. On a small town in the Valtellina area on the Italian-Swiss border.

Traditions

Selva Marine is a typical example of a traditional Italian family business with a long history of international relations, managed with dedication and enthusiasm by the third generation of “small entrepreneurs in Northern Italy”. The distribution of Selva outboard motors, which are widely recognized as particularly suitable for work, leisure and sport, takes place mainly in Europe and the Mediterranean.
