Suzuki’s new four-stroke generation boat engine DF100B is an example of achievement! It includes «Multi–Point, Sequential » electronic fuel injection, an impressive 2.59:1 gear ratio and a self-adjusting chain. It all comes with Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control system. The latest models also support the Suzuki Troll Mode system as well as the CAN2 communication protocol. The combination – the lowest weight (157kg) and the largest gear, a powerful 27 amp generator makes the DF100B a 1500ccm surprise!
Offset Driveshaft
The engine block is placed closer to the front of the engine, which provides better engine balance during the ride, the tapered crankshaft makes the piston move more smoothly, thus improving operating efficiency and reducing vibration.

2-Stage Gear Reduction
This system, which includes an OFFSET DRIVESHAFT, has a first-order gear ratio reduction between the crankshaft and driveshaft gears and a second-order reduction between the transmission gears. This drive design provides a higher gear ratio, allowing the engine to spin larger diameter propellers for more torque and engine power.

Suzuki Easy Start System
With Suzuki’s new starter system, all you have to do is turn the key and release it, as the starter does the rest, staying activated until the engine starts. In addition, the system also ensures smoother and better starting, more efficient fuel burning and greater fuel saving.
Self-adjusting distribution gas chain
The self-regulating distribution gas chain is located in the oil sump, which means that it does not require additional lubrication. The chain is equipped with a hydraulic tensioner, which ensures its accurate tension during operation.

Water Warning System (available on DF100B models only)
It helps protect the engine with a special fuel filter from water entering and mixing with the fuel. This system alerts the driver with a visual and audio warning of the presence of water in the fuel system.

Suzuki Anti-Corrosion Coating
Boat engines are exposed to the environment and salt water, so the aluminum parts of the engine are covered with Suzuki’s anti-corrosion coating in several layers. This will keep the new boat engines looking great for a long time, along with the new design side decals and Nebular black paint.
Hydraulic lift and tilt limit system
The DF100B engines are equipped with a new hydraulic lift and pitch limit system designed to protect the boat from damage that could be caused by lifting the outboard too high. This system includes a pitch angle sensor that functions as both an engine lift limiter and a roll sensor, making it easier to install an outboard motor on any type of boat.
