SUZUKI DF25A & DF30A OUTBOARDS

The lightest in its class! And certainly also the quietest and most balanced!

By perfecting some of Suzuki’s best technologies, these will be the lightest engines in the 25 and 30-hp class at the moment.
~ The weight of the engines in the basic package (“S” leg, manual control, without starter) is only 62 kg.
~ Like the DF20AS and DF15AS models, these engines will have a “batteryless” fuel injection system, or EFI
~ Perfectly designed hand starter for easier engine starting.

~ Engine operation is very stable with minimal vibration. The new air exchange system and air filter make the engine very quiet in operation.

~ Suzuki Lean Burn system in the new DF25A and DF30A engines, which reduces fuel consumption by up to 15% compared to the previous generation model.
~ The new Suzuki DF30A and DF25A outboard engines will be the first in their class to use valve rocker rollers that differ from traditional valve rockers by having a tappet roller and a bearing inside. Thus changing the sliding motion to a rotary motion, reduces friction as the valve rockers swing.

~ Another novelty in this power class is the engine design, with OFFSET CRANKSHAFT (offset crankshaft) similar to the Suzuki DF140 (140Zs) boat engines, which firstly reduces the side pressure of the piston on the cylinder walls, thus making the piston stroke smoother and easier and the engine more efficient in total, and secondly balances the weight of the engine on the stern (board) of the boat.

~ The new Suzuki DF25/30A models are equipped with new hoods that provide faster air supply to the intake manifold, which is also helped by the rotating flywheel – exchanging the warm air under the hood with the cooler air coming in from the outside. The new type of intake manifold allows even smaller displacement engines to get more power.
~ While improving the technical characteristics of the engine, Suzuki engineers have not forgotten about things that make it easier to care for, transport, and store the engine. As an example – a convenient engine flushing system that allows you to easily flush the engine from sea salt, sand and dirt. ~ LED engine diagnostic indicators
The new engines are equipped with 3 LED diagnostic indicators to inform you about the operation of the engine in a convenient, easy-to-open manner.
